In his talk, he discussed the versatility of photoporation as a technique for gentle intracellular delivery of macromolecules to immune cells. Additionally, by adjusting experimental parameters, photoporation could also be used to induce anti-tumor immunity

In this work, we advanced with the promising concept of using nanobots (NBs) as drug delivery systems to deliver pDNA, marking not only the first report on pDNA delivery using NBs but also the first report on the evaluation of swarms for delivery and transfection.

Photoporation of NK-92MI cells with biodegradable polydopamine nanosensitizers as a promising strategy for the generation of engineered NK cell therapies
In this study, we demonstrated that photoporation, a gentle non-viral transfection technology, achieves high transfection efficiency in NK-92MI cells while preserving both their phenotype and cytolytic potential, which is essential for maintaining their therapeutic efficacy.
